Customer Marketplace Safety Policy

MakanVastu.com is a technology platform that introduces customers and independent service partners. The following safeguards are mandatory for customers.

Before engagement

• Check the Partner badge, current licence/registration and identification.
• Obtain a written scope, quotation, material specification, schedule, milestone plan, cancellation and warranty terms.
• Verify the bank beneficiary and obtain lawful receipts/invoices.
• For architecture/engineering, verify the professional’s registration and signed responsibility.
• For staffing/security, verify agency licence, worker identity and background records applicable to the role.

Payment safety

Never share OTP, CVV, UPI PIN, screen-sharing access or banking password. Avoid large undocumented cash advances. Report beneficiary mismatch, pressure tactics or suspicious requests immediately.

Direct payment: if you pay a Partner outside the platform, MakanVastu.com cannot hold, release, verify or refund that money. You remain responsible for the beneficiary, receipt, milestone and recovery. Protected payment: when enabled through an approved payment partner, the principal is reconciled against the approved quotation and milestone releases; a separately disclosed support fee applies. Written approvals and progress evidence

Approve only a written quotation and milestone schedule that you understand. Do not rely solely on phone conversations. Daily photo/video and location records help review but do not replace site inspection, professional certification or independent measurement.

Platform limitation

Normal/Verified badges are platform indicators, not guarantees. MakanVastu.com does not control on-site execution unless a separate written managed-service contract expressly says so. Non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.

Complaints

Use the dashboard complaint form only for truthful, evidence-based complaints against an assigned Partner. Serious safety or criminal matters should also be reported to competent authorities without delay.
